This session was taken from the WellVet Virtual 2020 Series, a wellbeing boost for the entire team, in partnership with Boehringer Ingelheim. We're joined by Naz Reed to give us a Family Pilates session and to talk about how we can maximise the benefits of this practice.
Naz Reed is a business owner, Physiotherapist, Pilates teacher, wife and mother of 2 beautiful girls 10 years and 15 months old. She is the founder of Ultimate Performance Lifestyle practice with a team of Physiotherapist’s, Sports Therapist, Pilates and Yoga teachers. Naz is also expecting her third child in October and incorporates family values into our practice ethos by treating everyone who uses our services as a part of her family.
Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist Naz was a Veterinary nurse for over 15 years, therefore has great insight of the pressure of the Veterinary work and the strain it has on your body both physically and mentally. Naz has over 8 years experience in teaching Pilates and uses her Physiotherapy knowledge to ensure correct posture, spinal alignment and right muscles are engaged.
“The students I have in my class varies from back pain, post joint replacement, MSK conditions, runners, cyclists, post natal and antenatal mothers. I want to come across to the whole family during my class with Well Vet so all members can participate. Everyone can benefit from improving Posture, Core strength, Flexibility, Balance and Pelvic stability”
